I don’t really bother with mystery beauty boxes anymore, as they always seem to include products I’m not interested in, and I end up with more clutter than I need. That’s why I prefer to buy pre-packaged beauty boxes like the Sun-Ready Edit from Cult Beauty. It was such a steal (£42 for products supposedly worth over £205) that I snapped one up instantly. Unfortunately, it’s sold out now, but if it does come back in stock again I’ll be sure to grab another box.
I’ve already started using a few of the products in this box, and here’s a breakdown of the contents along with the total value.
Dr. Barbara Sturm Aloe Vera Gel RRP £55 / 125ml / full size
HUM Nutrition Here Comes the Sun RRP £15 / 30 capsules / full size
Lancaster Sun Beauty Body Milk SPF15 £7 / 50ml (RRP £35 / 200ml)
Megababe Thigh Rescue RRP £8 / 23g / full size
Medik8 Advanced Day Ultimate Protect SPF50+ RRP £59 / 50ml / full size
Philip Kingsley Swimcap Water Resistant Mask £19 / 75ml / full size
Supergoop! Play Everyday Lotion SPF 50 with Sunflower Extract RRP £20 / 75ml / full size
Ultra Violette Sheen Screen Hydrating Lip Balm SPF50 RRP £16 / 15g / full size
ZitSticka MEGASHADE Breakout-proof SPF Serum £4.9 / 7ml (RRP £35 / 50ml)
The total comes to £203.9, which is not quite the claimed £205, but within acceptable tolerance. I only wanted two products in this box, the Supergoop and Medik8 SPF lotions, but even so, it’s well worth it. The rest can always be shared with family/friends – a win-win!
